Built by David Anderson, James Armour and Jessie Miller. The original partners were David Anderson, merchant; James Armour, maltster and member of the Campbeltown Gas Company; Miss Jessie Miller who later married the Excise Officer John Stewart

The original partners were joined by John Hancock, a London banker
1837-40
David Anderson & Co. when David Anderson withdrew
1844
Partnership dissolved and the distillery was sold
1850-1908
Continued as the Glenside Distillery Co. whose partners were James Armour again; Hugh Ferguson, baker and John Kerr Orr, a commission agent from Glasgow
1908
Incorporated as a limited company before Robertson & Co. bought the majority of the shares
by 1920-21
