Built by Alexander Wilson & Co. in an area renowned for illicit distilling to replace Tochineal (1871 mentioned as well)

Distillery sold to Buckie Town Council for £1,000
1938
Purchased from Buckie Town Council by Arthur Bell & Sons Ltd., reputedly for £4,000 and modernized extensively. Power was converted from coal to steam, and the warehouses were renovated which were that large that they provided bonding space for other distilleries in the region

Expanded from two to four stills, whicj became all steamheated
